Monomad - Le Petals

Cactus flowers have such delicate petals! I guess they can afford all that gentliness with the thorns protecting them. Most of the time anyway. This is my first Gymoncalycium cactus. The spines are not that big here, but I have another one that has the spines long and bent that look like a cage around the green body (photo below) . The flowers still manage to push through and open.	Kwiaty kaktusów mają tak niesamowicie delikatne płatki. Zdaje się, że mogą sobie na pozwolić. Przecież ciernie je obronią. To jest mój pierwszy Gymnocalycium. Ciernie nie są za duże, ale mam inny okaz, który wygląda jak zielona kulka zamknięta w klatce (zdjęcie niżej). Mimo to kwiaty dają radę i pięknie się otwierają.

Shot on my balcony when the first flowers appeared. It is such a floriforour plant! The only cactus that blooms nearly continuously since March. All the rest have one blooming season and that is it. Yep… one of my favourite.	Zdjęcia robione na balkonie gdy pojawiły się pierwsze kwiaty. Ten kaktus jako jedyny kwitnie niemal nieprzerwanie od wiosny! Inne mają swoją wybraną porę roku i poza nią kwiatów nie uraczysz. Mój mały ulubieniec.
