MONOMAD - To see, but not to be seen
This photo was taken some years ago in the city of Agra, India. The place is Agra Fort, which was built by Akbar in 1565 – 73. This woman is standing in a building where the women in the palace could look at the bazar outside, but those outside could not see them.
