Thursday Animals - Hawk & Segulls
The other day I went to check out the shore but it turned out to be way too windy and cold for my liking. There's a big garbage dump on our way there and it was absolutely swarmed with birds. Birds everywhere. I couldn't help but stop to test my 300mm lens to see how much detail I could get. It all happened so fast that I didn't stop to think about how zoomed in I was. This was cropped from the original, which I feel did not give the detail I wanted in the hawk.

While it's nice having this lens, I know there are much better lenses for animal photography. If I could have just gotten a little closer! Practice makes perfect and I look forward to taking more pictures of the Wisconsin wildlife. I've never really taken pictures of birds before and it was certainly a new experience that I look forward to repeating.

Is this for real? This feels like comment spam. Your one liners on others posts seem to be comment spam too even though they're each slightly different. Are you even human? Between you, @tastetwist and @hiranur all slapping me with shit comments I don't know what to think but spam. Why you do this?
Hi @bitfiend This is not spam i put aside sometime of my day to give back to people as i feel there isn't enough people going out of there way to leave comments, people either are on a curation trail and do not actually read peoples posts often. I like to read peoples posts and leave a nice comment which is what i did on your post. I'm a singer/songwriter and when i put my songs out i sometimes get long comments or just "nice song" or great song or good song but all these comments are appropriated by me. So i just want to let you know i am not a robot i am indeed a human... i'm sorry you feel that my comment of "Great photo" is shit. (I Still think it was a great photo)
Fair enough, my apologies then. I guess it was just bad timing. For what it's worth, thanks for taking the time to respond. You are right most people are on a curation trail and there's little engagement. This is why I reacted so. I still appreciate the positive feedback.
