Monomad Challenge - Fiasco
This photo is my entry for the #monomad contest @monochromes.
If you read Harry Harrison’s book “The World of Death,” you remember that in the plot of this science fiction novel, on the planet Pir, everything turned against man.
Plants and animals, they all tried to oust man from this planet. The main character had the choice to stand on one or the other side. He soon realized that it was impossible to please both parties.
Man is too proud to submit to bugs and grass. The only way is to force people to surrender their positions voluntarily, before the fear of death.
In this abandoned territory, humanity lost. The flora exploded asphalt and broke free. Cracks in reinforced concrete are a reminder of a broken man’s pride.
The paths and paths that man created for the comfort of movement, now, became impassable. We have lost our freedom of movement.
