Pine in Andalusia

The arid soil of Southern Spain actually lends itself to growing pine and oak trees quite well. I have several around our property here that thrive without the aid of humans. We also have several smaller garden varieties that produce these tiny white flowers.

Photo taken with a Samsung mobile device, and only passed through a black and white filter, no further editing has been done. Call it The Mobile Camera Experiment. Or I could just be lazy...yeah, probably that one.
