The Temple Mount Plaza 🌀 Monochrome Monday


Here is the Temple Mount in the City of Jerusalem. On the Mount you can see the Dome of the Rock in the middle, and the Al Aqsa Mosque on the right. The wall that is all lit-up is the Western, or Wailing Wall. This is the view from the walkway down from the Jewish Quarter.

The dome covers a specific spot of much significance. It's where Abraham is known to have brought Isaac up, and where Jacob's ladder was, and it's where the Ark and Tablets of the 10 Commandments rested in the Holy of Holies of the First and Second Temples. The Dome of the Rock refers to this foundation.
