Monochrome Monday - My Beautiful St Andrew's Cross Spider...!!
It was a wet afternoon in Bangkok City a few days ago and when i got home from work i decided to take my cup of coffee and my iPhone and sit out on my rooftop just to enjoy that bit of cool air that we don't get much of in Bangkok City. The garden set- up is surround around the walls of the rooftop with many beautiful flowers and greenery and i love taking photo shots of flowers with rain drops dripping of them of cause the rain had stopped and it was just right to be wondering around the garden with my camera. As i was doing this i came across a spider web that i had never seen before it looked amazing perfectly designed like a cross.
Now as i was snapping a shot of this amazing spider web out jumps this huge spider from no where as if it just flew in from no where of course you could image the shivers that run up my spine , holy shit i jumped back a few feet but then i re-collected myself and had to have a closer look at this spider with caution i approached closer because i didn't know if this spider was safe to get to close to i was amazed this spider had some amazing features and colors about it.
Admiring this spider i will say this is one of the most beautiful spider's i have come across i later found out it's a Female St Andrew's Cross Spider because of it's size. The males are a lot smaller and they are not poisonous when i found that out i wanted to go back and give it a pat just to feel that silky fur skin on it's back.
Got to show it to you in color version so you can visualize it better.
It was difficult to get clear images when zooming in close with my iPhone 6. As you could image at that point i didn't know what sort of spider it was so i was keeping my distance and my eye on it.
