Monochrome Monday: Millenium bridge (Kazan, Repupblic of Tatarstan, Russia)

I took this picture in the end of May at Kazan. The photo shows a Millennium Bridge.

The Millennium Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge that spans Kazanka River, in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia. Its name originates from Kazan's thousandth anniversary, widely celebrated in 2005 and the shape of its M-like pylon.

Kazan is a very old and beautiful city. After the event, we wanted to walk.

We walked along the evening Kazan. This bridge turned out to be very long. The total length of the bridge is 1524 meters, with approaches to the bridge - more than 3 kilometers.

There were a lot of cars on it. On the side of the bridge there was a large water surface in which the lights of many buildings located near the river were reflected. It was very beautiful. But because of the lack of a tripod, I could not make good photos.

The letter M which is located on this bridge is visible from afar from different parts of the city.
