MonochromeMonday: Palacio da Bolsa

This is my entry for this week's #monochromemonday photo challenge:

Palacio da Bolsa, Porto, Portugal

This palace was built in 19th century and it is one of the landmarks of Porto. The initial purpose of this building was to host the Porto Stock Exchange. The construction reunits Neoclassical arhitecture and Palladian influence. The stock exchange moved from this building and today the palace is used for various events, including weddings.
My favorite room is the Arab lounge.

While in Porto, it definitely worths paying a visit. Make sure you book your tickets in time. Sometimes it might be closed because of upcoming events that will be hosted there.
