Time

in #money7 years ago

In a discussion with @daddykirbs the conversation turned to not enough time to get it all done ...

We are given 24 hours in a day and yet most feel they need to pack in 48 or more hours into that day to get everything done that they over filled their allotted time with.

You have approximately 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness and yet in spite of knowing the limits of said time you insist on over booking and trying to over pack all that you think needs to be done in the allotted time and try to force time to extend into 48 to meet your needs. And riches (money) can't buy the extra time.

So when do you rest?
When do you eat?
When do you spend time with loved ones?
When do you have time to worship and connect with your creator?

Without rest, your body and mind break down.
Without taking the time to eat, your health drops.
Without taking the time with your loved ones you distance yourself from a caring support system.
Without taking the time to be in fellowship you soon become lost.

My solution was to follow the example we are given in the Bible:

God first, family second and divide your time among the rest and get a good nights sleep to recharge the awesome person you can be.
If God set time for rest don't you think you need to also?

How many are in the same spot?
What are you doing to change it?

Very nice. Thank you for sharing your perspective. I have so many projects going on here on the Daddykirbs Farm! Thankfully I cannot get a lot of it done because I am giving my time to my family first. Those projects (including steemit and youtube videos and interactions) are gladly set aside when my family needs me.

@daddykirbs Absolutely! God and family first. You got this!

Always take time for the family, kids grow up and parents fade away, enjoy them while you have them...

You are so right @weetreebonsai! seems to me they want humans to be machines, no sleep, fake food, breaking up the family units and removing God.
There are two sayings i've come across over the yrs.
'Man fears time - Time fears the pyramids.', and
'Of all losses, time is the most irrecuperable for it can never be redeemed.'
Thank you weetreebonsai, your words inspire!

Thank You Shasta! Many people have forgotten that the drive for riches destroys the relationship needed to be a human.
