What really makes you happy?

It is quite common to relate money to happiness. The assumption is that one needs to have sufficient money to enjoy a happy life. Perhaps, there are at least four types of money-makers.

First type, those enjoy seeing the money they have accumulated. These people work hard to make as much money as possible. They may not enjoy their work. However, when they see the money earned and accumulated, they are satisfied. Their happiness is based on an accumulation of money.

The second type of money-makers find happiness in using the money they have made. They have in mind an ideal life-style such as obtaining a prestigious club membership and regularly going for holiday trips. They actually do not enjoy making money, yet their happiness is dependent on the ideal life-style obtainable through money earned.

The third type of money makers are those who enjoy the money making process. They do not focus on saving more money nor think too much on ideal life-style. They work hard to make money for that is what they find satisfaction to do.

The fourth type are those who take different forms of combination among the first, second and third types. Apparently, these include the money makers who enjoy the process of making money, then saving money and using the money earned for their ideal life-style.

Back to the question, “What really makes you happy?” Each of the four types of money-makers find their way of happiness. Are we “really” happy in our undertaking and accomplishment?Nevertheless, is their a better way to find happiness than making money? What if there is more to life?

什么令你真正快乐呢？

经常金錢会和快乐联系在一起。一个假設，人必须要有足够的錢才能享受快乐生命。或者，至少有四种挣钱者。

第一种是那些享受看到他们所收藏的金钱者。这些人努力的赚钱。他们不一定享受所进行的工作，但是在看到所赚到及收集的钱便感到满足。他们的快乐是建立在擁有很多的钱。

第二种的掙钱者的快乐时刻则是在应用所赚到的钱。他们有理想的生活方式如成为久负盛名的俱乐部会员及定期享受假期旅行。他们其实並不享受赚钱，他们的快乐是建立在透过所挣的钱得到理想之生活方式。

第三种是那些享受赚钱过程的人。他们不太关注存钱及思想所谓理想的生活。他们努力赚钱，而那就是他们乐在其中的行动。

第四种乃是上述三种的不同程度的综合者。表面上看，他们是那些享受赚钱过程、存钱並使用所挣的钱过理想生活的人。

回到开始的问题，“什么令你真正快乐呢？上述的每种挣钱者有他们的快乐之道。我们是否“真正”快乐的工作及享受其成果呢？無論如何，是否有更好的管道以獲得快乐呢？生命只不过如此吗？
