Self sufficient homes should be the way we go ! It is logical , makes sense and thats why we get NO SUPPORT FROM THE GOVERNMENT! Elon Musk from TESLA INC. had a video on YouTube demonstrating a new product being house roofs made entirely out of solar panels , or basically the roof is just on big solar panel ! BRILLIANT ❗️But now I can't find that video ⁉️But let's still look at this from a common sense view . Why not just make the entire roof a very durable and resilient structure that is laminated completely with solar panels , not solar panels on the roof , but just make the roof one gigantic solar panel ! If you look at Google earth nothing takes up more square footage then the roof of a building ! And no body talks about this fact ! The roofs of many buildings catch all the sunlight but are now just completely useless! Why not put them to WORK ! Do the math just for shit and giggles on how much energy can be produced if every roof was just a big solar panel? I'm betting it is a scary number for the power companies !
