Absolutely....eventually.
It will not be an overnight occurrence but it will happen. In fact, the entire nation-state system will be eliminated at some point. The resulting system will be similar to the states in the US where there are borders but they mean little.
Technology knows no national boundaries and we are at the elbow of the exponential growth unseen in human history. The next 20 years will radically alter the life of every single person on this planet.
it is just a matter of time, inevitable as long as internet survives...
