Earning money for voting early! [STEEM POWER]

Hey steemers/steemians whatever we are calling ourselves..

I wanted to do a quick post about earning money by upvoting posts on here..

I actually learned the hard way, but if you have a somewhat decent amount of SP you can earn a decent return by voting early on posts that become popular. Even if you only have a little Steem Power you still can be paid, but not as much as other upvoters with more SP.

The important thing to remember is to wait AT LEAST 15 minutes after the post has been posted, and upvote content that you think will become valuable. You get 50% reward if you upvote after 15 minutes and 100% if you wait until after it's been posted for 30 minutes, but if you upvote before 15 minutes you forfeit 99.94% of your curation reward to the author.

So remember that the more upvotes you do in a 24 hour period the less each of your upvotes are worth and rewarded.. and the recommended amount of upvotes in 24 hours is 20-50.. so definitely consider that when you vote on a post, and make sure not to just spam a bunch of new content in hopes of getting lucky. If you just look at the "New" page you should have a good 15-30 minutes to research the new stuff and know if it's valuable to upvote when it hits that 15-30 minute mark.

So go out there and support some new content and get rewarded for it and watch your value grow :D
