Does this make cents (sense)? A button for change.
| THE IDEA THAT MANIFESTED |
| See way back when, along time ago, I thought it would be cool to reinvent the 'voice' a person had by sheer voting power. I wanted to create a body that was powerful enough to make moves without repercussion. A body that would stand for ALL PEOPLE who felt change through consensus. I garnered that THE PEOPLES sense combined with MY cents would give the body its strength and diligence to accomplish any task THE PEOPLE put ahead of it. So I came up with a way to harness the implication. My idea would offer people the ability to approve, or disapprove an idea. The ability to vote with their common sense. The ability to change how a person, or business is viewed. For good, or bad through interaction. The good ideas would take the top of the list and the bad ideas would be thrown out.  Yet, my idea was more complicated with an actual storefront business to be incorporated; I devised that running a business would allow me to get my reputation of trust built, by my quality of work and ethic. Which would in turn put sense (cents) into the value I was bringing forth to create change. |
THE DEFINITION OF VALUE |
Along with the store front I planned on running, I was going to develop a social network that dared to defy Facebook and any other competitor that saw me as a rival. I was trying to change the way the social networking scene functioned in conjunction with content, products, and services in the sense of giving the people of the platform a medium to speak through by using their sense (cents)."Without physical value, monetary value means nothing." - Bradley Peers My idea was similar to that of the Facebook 'Like', but rather than 'Like', 'Share', or 'Recommend', an image of change (penny, nickle, dime, quarter, half dollars, or a mix of the sort for different denominations) would be used. The concept was to create 'change' in a way that was defined by physical value (the value perceived by a person), more than monetary fiat value.  I felt that through the change I was creating the definition of value could be redefined. That rather than focusing on the monetary expense exchanged as an efficient means of trade, think of the value brought forth by any simpleton performing, providing, or creating said services, products, or goods being rendered thus putting value behind your money. |
TAKING ACTION WITH A CLICK |
| The functions I wished to achieve with sensible clicking on my social networking platform: 🌟 Once a creation is deemed sensible, the value would increment by $0.01 indicating that the person 'buying' the content, product, or service, approves and believes it creates change. By them doing this, it would boost the reputation of said creation exposing it to more people. 🌟 The amount of sensibility for content, products, or services shall be limited to 10,000 clicks, or a static value of the highest amount of currency available to a normal class citizen in the economy ($100). At this point the content, product, or service would be reviewed by the 'body' and deemed acceptable for additional exposure or action relative to consensus. 🌟 A person would be limited to 1 sensible notion per content, product, or service per day (24 hours). |
THE 'SENSE' BUTTON  |
| To demonstrate my thought, I created a button for my social network. I named it: The 'Sense' Button. I devised the button on the smallest amount of change (currency) available (penny; or 1 cent). Based on the logic that humans are capable of creating an unlimited amount of 'change' just like love, compassion, happiness, and knowledge. So therefore they have an infinite amount of pennies (sense) to demonstrate their acknowledgement being made. When more than one person notices change and they put in thier sense (cents) the value of change increases and collectively demonstrates we can, as a whole, create a changing effect. Money itself is not valuable without a physical (value) entity to back it except for the material, numeral, and face it consists of. If we collectively recognize the 'value' of a simpleton performing a service, providing a product, or creating goods, the value of fiat currency can be restored. The true question is: |
