RE: I Have an Appetite for Money

in #money7 years ago (edited)

LIKE IT OR NOT, money determines if you're in the game or not. Anyone who doesn't believe money keeps things fluid, moving in forward progression, with swift restoration back to a sense of normalcy; take a look at the GRB lines, seeking FEMA assistance, from the devastation left, by old-boy Harvey.
THOSE WITH A STABLE CASH FLOW have sights on renting a car until they can restore or replace the one(s) they have. They’ve hired people at the ready to restore their home. They will return to work in a few days, and continue onward. Some will rebuild, some will move. That’s the freedom money offers.
HOWEVER, ON THE OTHER HAND, those without a substantial income, are in a pickle, to put it lightly. Everything is about attitude; but, keeping a positive one is key when standing in long lines waiting for an agency to make provision for you. This is a swift reminder that the lack of money puts you in a whole other world. You realize that while you may get a loan to restore your home, it will be at an interest rate that if you default, puts owning your home in jeopardy.
SO, IN RESPONSE TO YOUR POST, while money can’t make you happy; the lack of it can make you overwhelmingly miserable. It is in this instance, that I am moved to ask that we pray for all in the quake of the horrific devastation. SMH, the flood waters receding are just the beginning of what’s ahead for so many. Thanks for the post.
WHILE I’M IN PRAYER MODE (ALWAYS), let us pray for the recent 700 mil lottery winner. Clearly, she’s having to come to grips of why God chose her to steward such a huge amount of money. Let us pray that she handles her newfound wealth wisely, and with great joy! Yes, money can give you joy. Exorbitant wealth can make you miserable; but, I assure you, seeking God for management can cure many a sorrow.
PEACE.

God for management can cure many a sorrow

You have reminded me of a popular quote that has always stuck dear to me:

In the Beginning was/is the Word...and the Word is and with God.

I'm not a religious follower of any particular organized religion - but i do appreciate Living Principles and Common Sense Analogies that can be easily integrated into our daily life.

I regard God as Everything Physical Here. Always.

Thank You for taking the time to contribute Here - it is much appreciated.

Interesting reply...Yes, God is in Everything...Physical and MetaPhysical...in the seen things and the unseen things, too.
When it comes to money, He rains it down on the good and the evil; each with its own consequences. The consequences of ill-gotten gain vs hard-earned or gifted income are pretty self-explanatory.
Organized religion is sometimes seen as the great divide of the people...it lures people to do, one of the mega things God tells us NOT to do...Judge...
I stand in strong faith believing that He is more than able to bring all the peoples into one accord. Some day this will happen...
One last thing...many things God requires of us often forces us to part ways with common sense...lol....
Again, i enjoyed your post.
Peace.
