1971 Canadian $10 Bill (Lawson-Bouey)

in #money7 years ago

I enjoy collecting paper money from Canada and around the world and below are pictures from one of the notes in my favourite series of Canadian paper notes, the 1969-1975 series. The bill below is the 1971 Canadian $10 bill (Lawson-Bouey) and it has Sir John A. Macdonald on the front and on the back has an industrial scene which is located in Sarnia, Ontario. A common theme with this series of notes is economic as a few of the notes show economic activities in various parts of Canada. This note is in UNC - GUNC condition so its value is $50-$65 approx. The major factors in determining a bills value is its condition and it's prefix, in the case of this note its prefix is EEP and as more than 9 million of these notes were created its value is considerably less than compared to a prefix with a lower amount of supply.
