The old and the new 5 Euro bill / Der alte und der neue 5 Euro Schein
Some time ago, I received as a change an old five euro bill, when I looked closely, the bill looked a bit strange until I remembered that these notes were abolished in 2013. Logically, the state can not replace all the bills overnight, but the bill is becoming increasingly rare.
Which 5 euro bill do you find better, and can you even remember its appearance? ;)
Vor einiger Zeit habe ich als Rückgeld einen alten fünfer erhalten, als ich genau hinsah, sah der Schein etwas ungewohnt aus bis mir einfiel, dass diese Scheine 2013 ja abgeschafft wurden. Logischerweise kann der Staat nicht von heute auf morgen alle Scheine ersetzen, doch der Schein wird immer seltener.
