Introduction

The one problem money cannot solve is poverty. While there are many underlying causes of poverty, one of the causes is a lack of financial education. The problem with throwing money at the issue of poverty is that money only creates more poor people and keeps people poorer longer. This is why most successful people are teachers. They know that the one true solution to worldwide poverty is financial education, not money. If money alone could solve poverty, they would donate their money. But since money cannot solve poverty, they donate their time. In addition, a portion of the profits of their books will be donated to charitable and educational organizations that also teach financial literacy.

As your financial education increases, you will start to recognize financial opportunities everywhere. Once you become rich, you may choose to help change the world as well. This is what successful people do. This is why they join forces as teachers.
Can you read this post with an open mind? If so, you will see the world through the eyes of successful men and you may expand your own mind-set about money and what is possible for your financial future-To your financial future of freedom.

What I am Concerned About

I'm afraid we have developed an entitlement mentality as a nation. And I'm not talking about just poor people. Too many people, from the president and ministers on down, expect a pension from the government. I really wish we could afford to solve their problems, but to do that would bankrupt our nation. We could ask the rich to pay for everyone, but would it solve the problem? And for how long would it even solve the problem?

The best way to solve the problem of bad financial results is to change our thoughts - to start thinking like rich people rather than poor and middle-class people. That means losing the entitlement mentality-whether you are a military officer, government worker, schoolteacher, employee or just poor. If we do not stop expecting the government to take care of us, we will continue to have the same results - a bankrupt nation filled with well-educated but financially needy people.

Albert Einstein defined insanity as "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." In this case, it is my opinion that it is insanity to keep sending kids to school and not teaching them about money. I believe we need to train more kids to be entrepreneurs who will create jobs, and be investors. Instead of walking away with a solid financial education, most kids leave school- some already deeply in debt - prepared only to work hard, save money, get out of debt, invest for the long term and diversify.Warren Buffett says the following about diversification:
"Diversification is protection against ignorance.
It makes very little sense if you know what you are doing
.
One of the keys to becoming rich is to know what you are doing.

I want you to find out your own whys, rather than expecting a handout from the government. That's how we can help solve the problem. Obviously the successful people can't help everyone, because not everyone has the talent to become rich, but they can help those who do and have the desire to be rich."
"This entitlement mentality is a monster problem; Huge; and I agree".
Bigger even than the national debt, the falling dollar, the oil crisis and retirement programs. And those are very big and very real problems. Problems aren't the issue, I say. We all have money problems ... even you and I. It's how we solve the problem that's the issue. We, as a nation, cannot solve our financial problems if we think with an entitlement mentality. It's this mentality that's really at the core of the problem. That's why I want people to become rich!

Our financial problems are caused by the way we think. We have to change the way we think about money.

Indeed, rich people are not rich because of their money but they are rich because of their mentality. They always want to grow the money. The poor always want to spend the money. Indeed, we need to change our thinking pattern

heyyy @tj4real i see ya. thank ya for ya opinion

I am the Great Cornholio! Would you like to see my portfolio? I have a portfolio in my bunghole, with my óleo!

I am Cornholio! You will co-operate with my bunghole!

Money can do everything but money is surely not everything...you can spend money when you are happy but money is never happiness...its "the root of all evil" ....thanks @richforever for your great work bro..its a nice experience...upped

its "the root of all evil".

I disagree with you on this one bro. I believe it would be hard to catch a billionaire at night robbing people of their hard earned money. Money really is not everything but it can solve at least 50% of people's problems if they have it. It is usually the poor class that are caught in illegal activities all in the name of money. Financial Education is the Key.

I totally agree with you @richforever. Imagine if our country had even just 10 billionaires who have decided to help develop the nation. Imagine how quality our health system will be and how education at every corner of the country would be rich. Financial education is the key to most of our problem. The sad thing is most of us ignore this truth and when it finally catches up to them, they start embezzling state funds all in the name of " retirement". We have got to wise up before history repeats itself.

I agree that money will not solve the problem, but, it can help the problem get solved.

Go #teamghana!

I am very glad that you came to that conclusion, I think the same way. The mentality of people is the biggest problem, but not only with money, but with all aspects of life. The natural state of the people is the shortage, we are not born with money or objects, therefore we do not have a divine right to have everything, but rather we must work hard to get it.

Regards, and of course, thanks for posting.

thank you for this resourceful opinion @vieira
