As such, technology can be considered a tool that genuinely helps humans thrive and prosper.

How tech can help entire countries

Developed countries had to go through many steps to achieve their current level of progress.
Countries that are now modernizing and growing can 'leapfrog', meaning that they can skip some of those steps, and upgrade right to the most modern technology.

The enormous benefits of leapfrogging

• Saving lots of money in infrastructure
• Growth can be made to be environmentally sustainable
• In general, avoid many other mistakes done along the way by more developed countries

Real example

The biggest, real example of leapfrogging can be found with mobile phones!
Many countries didn't have to go through the process of building fixed-line phones, and now many people in those countries have access to calls, messages and internet via satellite, which saved them lots of money and resources!

How tech and crypto help individuals

Microcredit is, literally, a Nobel Peace Prize level idea, because it creates a lot of opportunities for poor people to, for example, expand their crops, start a small business, etc.

And crypto can enhance this already great idea, by allowing everyone to use it as collateral on loans and by providing platforms, like Steemit, where users can make some extra income just by blogging!

Conclusion

Nothing else developed by humans has come close to being as powerful in creating income and business opportunities as modern tech. As such, we have to use it to help lift more and more people how of poverty!
