To send an article to the promoted section : There is s a Promote link at the bottom of every article. Click it and send a payment. The site then puts the article in the promoted section.

Yup I see the link but I never use it. So even 0.001 can be used to send it to promoted... awesome.
Correct .... the more you pay the higher up on the promoted section you are. Since barely anyone uses the feature a min payment in most cases is enough to get your article to the top or near the top.
