The war on cash is real, it's not a conspiracy theory, it should be obvious to anyone with half a brain, that the banks and the Governments are both working hand in hand to eliminate cash, worldwide. It's not just that cash is becoming obsolete, which it does, however they are actively pushing to eliminate it as fast as possible.

It's already going away, and I believe by 2020 it will be gone. The Government wants to steal all your wealth, online or offline and they want to control you like a slave.

This means that not just cash will disappear, but every other wealth storage mechanism that is outside the system!

Gold, silver, other physical valuables like jewelry, precious stones, etc... are all being made illegal to hold. It's Orwellian:

Now any valuable thing that you can have is a regulated bank account with no privacy, and that is totally controlled by the Government, so they decide what you can buy or not. I almost feel like I'm in the 1984 novel.

Fork in the Road

Now don't be depressed. There is still a chance for liberty. As hard as the Government is trying to get rid of our privacy, we still have a chance to maintain it, but it won't be easy.

We can still use Bitcoin. But Bitcoin is still not privacy friendly enough. Bitcoin needs an anonymisation layer to it otherwise it will be very dangerous to use. All kinds of criminals, extortionists, business adversaries, and political enemies will threaten people.

There is a reason for anonymity, I have already talked about why Privacy & Anonymity is necessary to have a free society.

A system without privacy is worse than slavery, because you will be coerced into doing anything that people in power will tell you to do so. And I am not necessarily referring to the Government here, I am referring to any person that has more power than you.

Without privacy, mafias can roam around and hurt people, because nobody can stand up against them, as any small form of dissent will be quickly identified and eliminated. It's the blueprint for an Orwellian dystopic society.

So it's very important that our financials are decentralized, and we have a privacy right to it. Bitcoin is the first step, but it's not enough.
