You keep calling them U.S. Dollars... I call them Federal Reserve (Debt) Notes... Our U.S. Dollars are in the form of COINS... The metal content does not give our U.S. Dollars their value...In fact, our Coinage was never backed by Gold or Silver... Yes, they contained fixed amounts of gold, silver and other metals, but it was never "really" about the metal content... Article 1, Section 8 or the U.S. Constitution says that Congress has the Power to Coin Money and regulate the Value thereof... If and when the Federal Reserve Banking System fails, (and we all tend to think they will) we will still have a Medium of Exchange at hand, and ready to take over with use of our Coinage... To make a long story short, I think we're "due" for a Monetary System Reset (which involves our Coinage) along with a Transfer of Wealth, brought about by this Reset... I think our Coinage will Reset and go into effect as fast as Flipping a Switch, "by means" of an Emergency Executive Order, by the President of the United States...
