THE MINISTER OF FINANCE OF FRANCE HAS SUPPORTED THE SUPPORT FOR CRYPTUALS AND BLOKCHEINS

During breakfast with businessmen, including representatives of the Blockchain Partner, the Minister of Economy Bruno Le Maire announced his plans for the French crypto industry, which he assured in his "general and strong support."

Bruno Le Mer called to "teach fellow citizens how to make France a leader in blockade and active cryptoinnovations in Europe."

Account right and access to the bank

Bruno Le Mayr shares the opinion of the community: the situation is serious and worrisome for the sector companies, because this is obviously the first element of competitiveness for France. The state needs to preserve the value creators, and it is better for the promoters of projects to take a well-known and strong French bank than risk their capital on foreign accounts or foreign banks. Thus, the minister assumes the obligation to support crypto companies with FBF [Fédération Bancaire Française] in particular.

Taxation

PFU [Single Lump Sum] taxation based on one-time fixed amounts is the preferred option. In addition, the minister does not exclude the idea of ​​releasing individual crypto-bills from taxation, but wants to deepen discussions on the issues of the competitiveness of taxes.

The minister of finance redirected the issues of the accounting procedure to the relevant department for the development of principles regarding crypto currency.

ICO

Bruno Le Mayor considers it necessary to professionally evaluate ICO by independent rating agencies. To this end, at the beginning of the year, a working group on the regulation of the Crypto-currency was formed. This group is engaged in the development of regulatory requirements that should facilitate the withdrawal of France to the world's leading positions in the organization of ICO and the development of block projects. The working group is headed by Jean-Pierre Lando, who previously held the position of deputy head of the central bank of the country.

The calendar

The next deadlines, in terms of the legislative calendar, are July and September with the law PACTE and PLF 2019 [Financial Bill 2019]. The Minister of Economy and Finance wants to discuss the maximum number of issues to eliminate most of the obstacles to the development of the French ecosystem of the crypto industry and to make the necessary positions in the legislation.

A year ago, Le Mayor had a negative attitude towards kryptorku, but already at the G20 summit he demonstrated his fundamentally changed opinion and noted the important role that the technologies of blocking and crypto currency are in the world economy.
