ONECENT Daily Report - MAP FinTech Profits & New MAXUV Token - Day 49
Firstly, the numbers: our total value is currently about 1589 STEEM (+8 STEEM), including 449 STEEM within Steem Engine and a total of 15203 tokens in play. This gives ONECENT an ABV of about 10.45 STEEM cents (0.1045 STEEM), slightly up on yesterday.
As I mentioned yesterday, author rewards have dropped without a commensurate rise in curation rewards therefore, as initiated some time ago, we are concentrating on token trading - especially picking up under-valued stock.
Now, it may look as if I'm just shuffling tokens around different MAP FinTech projects, and this is partly true, but there must also be genuine profits generated within this system. The ADDAX game has just finished with very decent profits of almost 1% per day that have been paid out. Such profits did not appear by some magic, they were earnt by a variety of methods.
Programs such as MAP Rewarder, with its new MAPR token, have been generating and distributing profits higher than even bidbots for many weeks now. So, if the Steem population are slow to see the benefits of buying MAPR tokens for passive income, then I think it right that I spread those profits to other projects. Especially in a climate where few other tokens are able to keep a grip on their price.
MAPR is a good example in that profits are distributed every week and hence the token price rises every week. We are not likely to make 20% per week, but such investments come with the risks that that 20% may not always be positive. A 20% loss one week means having to make a 25% profit the next, just to get back to being even.
A different methodology, that delivers income as votes, is MAXUV. This was designed to give authors larger upvotes than they themselves could generate from their SP.
