Hi Greg! You forgot about Junk bonds that are not going higher. I also think that deleveraging is happening. That dollar is getting killed because of many reasons :
- Trump tax plan with more deficit to be monetized
- China and Japan slowing treasury purchase
- Corporation bringing cash home, selling US treasurys held overseas and buying equities.
- Fed rate hikes are subdued by other CBs rate hikes or forward guidance. The ECB in particular with euro gaining a lot.
