Thoughts on IOTA
About a week ago, i was doing some research on IOTA, a new crypto token, i found out that this token doesn't rely on blockchains to handle transfers. Instead all IOTA wallets are set up in a network, called a tangle. This means that there is no fee when a user does a transaction.! It also means no scalability limits, - because more users, just means a bigger network to handle transactions.
I came to the conclusion, that a crypto without fees, no scalability limits, and instant transfers, have to boom at some point, so a couple of days later i bought into IOTA, and i was surprised,- as promised, - transfers are done almost instant, and again no fees. The only cons about IOTA were the huge market cap, when it became available to the public, +1B. But I still beleave it can go to a 10B market cap in 1-2 years. It seems to have solved problems many other coins struggle with.
Anyone else been playing around with IOTA, let me hear how you experienced it, good or bad investment, let me hear your thoughts on IOTA.?
At this point, it looks a little fishy to me, suddenly comes a project, which can overcome all of the "conventional" blockchains.
After a few months, we will see the real value of it, but I 'm sure, that it worth some investment even at this stage.
Agreed the ICO was very fishy, no one knew about it before it was over, - but the tech seems to work.
All that "features" bring in fact a bunch new layers of problems.... Andreas Antonopoulos said it totally right & correct. The scalability issue is non - bitcoin even is totally uninterested when 2 inner parties try to attack it like now & acts like Satoshi was meaning it. In fact that ICO scams are all not beta stage software - same as ETH. Maybe watch that videos:

People simple want to get robbed, scammed & learn not as put the next 100mio worth of ETH in a smart contract (DAO greets) - lol.
