It was expected that the index would grow only to 88 points. The French improved the standard of living by 10 points. Evaluation of purchasing power increased by 10 points to minus 22 points. Consumers rated their ability to save money 5 points higher. The unemployment expectation index rose from 32 points to 34 points. The consumer confidence index in France averages 101 points over the past 46 years. A maximum of 130 points was recorded in 1973, a minimum of 80 points - in 2013.
