Industrial production in the UK fell in November 2018 by 0.4%, in the previous month, the figure fell by 0.5%, according to the British Office for National Statistics (ONS). By November last year, industrial output fell by 1.5%. Analysts had expected a monthly decline of 0.2%, and the annual - by 0.7%. All areas of the British industry have undergone a decline in indicators, except for the pharmaceutical, woodworking and paper industries. The maximum decline in industrial production was noted in metallurgy and the production of electrical equipment. The decline in November was 3.6% and 3.4%, respectively. At the same time, the negative trade balance rose to 12 billion pounds from 11.9 billion pounds in October.
