Regardless of what the US does, China and Russia are building a trading platform backed by gold for the silk road countries. It could especially benefit them if the dollar value goes down, but it could replace the petro dollar in the future and oil producing countries could sell oil in non US fiat. Today, if a country wants to sell oil for anything other than the US they are immediately labeled a terrorist. They go from a friend trying to stop terrorism to being a terrorist who uses chemical weapons. Aka Sadam and Ghadafi. Strange days we live in.
