As you say, people who surround us and more society program us in a way we did not choose. When I understood this mechanism; I told to me that I will always fight because I want to reach a point to improve myself and beeing as and where i want. It's important to have mentors; as some always told me, if you want to have a better life and be a winner or if you want to elevate yourself; surround you with people more high than you that will improve you and encourage you to do the same.
Understanding that you are being programmed is one half of the battle the rest is the daily routine of breaking that programming and putting in new ones and making it stick
We are told so often what to think that we never consider how to to think and why that is important and why how you think brings in biases and filters information differently
Glad you found out that your programming needs adjusting! Not eveyeone is that lucky and it’s a hard road but very much worth it
That's right, understanding is a thing but acting is another also. Is long and hard process who need you to be conscious and work for it. Happy for you too and nice post, it's important to know.
Oh 100% agree plenty of people are paralysed by action and would rather complain and do nothing than take action because that means the outcome replies on them and not external factors any longer
