Making Money While You Sleep????

Which one would you rather have?

1- Income that only comes to you when you actually work?

Or

2- Income that continually comes to you even after you are done
working? Even while you're on vacation! :)

Linear income is number 1. When your income is linear, you are trading your time for money. This is why for most jobs, you are given an hourly wage. Your employer is literally telling you what your hour is worth. Due to the nature of linear income, once you stop working the money stops going into your wallet.

Residual income is number 2. When your income is residual/passive, you work for a specific amount of time and money continues to come to you even after your work is done. Most people do not know that this kind of income is even available. To create true financial freedom, residual/passive income needs to be built to exceed your expenses.

Personally speaking, I much prefer residual income. After traveling to Hong Kong for 4 months, I want to continue my travels to as many countries as possible. This goal will not be realized through linear income alone.

For most people that wish to vacation, they often work for months or even years to save enough money to afford the vacation. Once your income is residual/passive, you will be on your vacation but the money will continue coming in regardless of your location.

With linear income, your paycheck starts at 0 again after you receive your paycheck. With residual/passive income, money continuously flows to you as long as it built correctly.

So I ask again.

Which one would you rather have?!
