In this post, I will give a quick and general overview of some of the major barter exchanges out there today.

Two Major Exchanges

There are two distinct barter exchanges right now in the United States that stand out from the crowd. They are:

• ITEX (http://www.itex.com)
• IMS (https://www.imsbarter.com)

Both of these exchanges are nationwide (United States), and have a host of options available for bartering. However, the barter world is not limited to just these two exchanges. There are literally hundreds if not thousands of local barter exchanges throughout the United States, as well as the world. If you want to check your area for your local barter exchanges, I would start with a simple google search for your city and state followed by 'local barter exchange'.
