MATTHEW 25:14-30 – THE PARABLE OF THE TALENTS

The parable talks about investment in a way of entrusting the wealth of the master to the servant while away from home.

To one he gave five thousand dollars, to another two thousand, to a third one thousand, depending on their abilities. Then he left. Right off, the first servant went to work and doubled his master’s investment. The second did the same. But the man with the single thousand dug a hole and carefully buried his master’s money. Jesus' Parable of the Talents calls the disciple community to trustful obedience in its imaginative and confident use of the master's resources while it waits for the return of the Son of Man. (https://www.enterthebible.org/resourcelink.aspx?rid=823)

What happen to the third man just dug a hole then buried the money? The master says "Take the thousand and give it to the one who risked the most. And get rid of this “play-it-safe” who won’t go out on a limb. Throw him out into utter darkness.’(https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+25%3A14-30&version=MSG)

The message is clear enough to do investment and multiply our resources base on our ability and understanding.

So blame yourself if you die POOR.

Really, Sir. I agree with you. It's somehow sad to know and maybe disappointing that those who are blessed don't know how to properly take care of their wealth and intelligence. Don't they know that there are millions of people who are dreaming to be like them? Or they really know bu doesn't care? Sad life.
