MY COLLECTION OF 20 LIRE [ITA-ENG]
Cari amici di Steemit eccomi qua per condividere con voi un’altra delle mie collezioni di monete, quella delle 20 lire.
Questa è un’altra mia grande collezione di monete con ben 560 pezzi vale a dire 11.200 delle vecchie mille lire. Ora parliamo un po’ di questo pezzo della nostra storia Italiana…

This is another big collection of coins with 560 pieces, or 11,200 of the old thousand lire. Now let's talk about this piece of our Italian story ...
Coniata per la prima volta nel 1956 con la scritta “prova” in pochi esemplari, se per caso ne avete una per le mani in ottime condizioni può anche valere più di mille euro. E’ stata poi lanciata nel 1957 in 60.075.000 esemplari. Le 20 lire nella facciata del dritto raffigurano una testa di donna ornata con spighe, poi possiamo vedere la scritta sotto in piccolo dell’autore (GIAMPAOLI) e la scritta REPUBBLICA ITALIANA, mentre nel retro una piccola ghianda attaccata su di un ramo di quercia, la scritta L. 20, l’anno e in piccolo l’iniziale di zecca ad esempio (R).
Prodotta dal 1957 al 1959 con il bordo rigato, la coniatura della moneta è stata poi sospesa dal 1960 al 1968 per problemi con la lega che veniva utilizzata la quale rendeva più difficile la sua lavorazione ma poi fu modificata e ripresa la coniatura con il bordo liscio negli anni successivi.
Tried for the first time in 1956 with the word "proof" in a few specimens, if by chance you have one for your hands in good condition it can also be worth more than a thousand euros. It was then launched in 1957 in 60,075,000 specimens. The 20 lire on the straight facade depicts a woman's head with ears, then we can see the letter below of the author (GIAMPAOLI) and the letter REPUBBLICA ITALIANA, while in the back a small acorn attached to an oak branch, the inscription L. 20, the year and small the starting tick for example (R).
Produced from 1957 to 1959 with the striped edge, coining of coin was then suspended from 1960 to 1968 for problems with the alloy that was used which made it harder to process but then was modified and resumed the smooth edge in subsequent years.
Dell’anno 1957 e 1958 ne possiedo molte mentre del 1959 è stata riprodotta in solo 4.005.000, quest’ultima data purtroppo manca nelle mia collezione. Dopo di che dal 1969 al 1991 sono al completo e ci sono gli ultimi anni 1999-2000-2001 in confezione zecca “FDC” (fior di conio cioè monete che non hanno mai circolato) che negli ultimi due anni è stata riprodotta solo per collezionisti.
Of the year 1957 and 1958 I own many while 1959 has been reproduced in only 4,005,000, the latter date unfortunately is missing in my collection. After that, from 1969 to 1991, they are complete and there are the last years 1999-2000-2001 in mint box "FDC" (uncirculated, coins that have never circulated) that in the last two years has been reproduced only for collectors .
Varie date presentano degli errori di stampa come ad esempio il 1970 dove al posto della (R) è stata incisa una (P). In altre date, invece, il ramo di quercia ha il gambo più largo oppure il ramo in tutte e due le facciate e qualche altro errore.
Queste ultime possono avere un certo valore numismatico anche perché oltre all’errore di stampa non ce ne sono moltissime in circolazione.
Various dates have print errors such as the 1970 where instead of (R) was engraved (P). On other dates, however, the oak branch has the largest stem or branch in both faces and some other error.
The latter can have a certain numismatic value, too, because in addition to the printing error there are not many in circulation.

Manu, ma second te è possibile che certi "errori" siano creati apposta per collezionismo? Monete con errori saltano fuori ovunque in molti paesi. Com'è possibile una cosa simile? Forse rotture con le macchine da conio/zecca?
Può essere che siano voluti gli errori, anche perché se ne trovano quasi in tutte le serie.
che spettacolo di collezione, non sapevo che le prime avessero la dicitura "Prova".
Si ne hanno coniate solo 1500 credo 😁
