What Would You Do If You Never Had To Worry About Money To Survive?

in #money8 years ago

Universal Basic Income is a topic that many countries around the world have been discussing as a way to solve many of the social problems that society faces today and into the future.

I wrote a post about it yesterday titled, Guaranteed Income For Every Citizen - Best Way To Revitalize Humanity and it got me thinking about what people would do if they never had to worry about money to survive.

Personally, I would travel more and spend more time getting to know and understand different cultures and I would garden more and play more music. Pretty much what I do now, just more of it. I think I would have more time to spend with others and to connect with people.

What about you?

Build a home that looks like bilbo baggins place, have a huge garden, fruit trees, bee hives, chickens and a milk cow. I would spend my time after gardening and caring for livestock making cheese and canning food, reading books, sewing clothes, weaving cloth, and painting pictures....lolol

Oh and throwing lots of parties serving my homemade mead....

That sounds delightful. I would visit and bring some homegrown goodies to share.

It's a deal!

when i have money, i have nothing to buy @luzcypher ... when i don't have money, i want everything

Lol, funny how that is, right?

Watch this during a long lunch / dinner :)

There's a part that explains what happens when there's no money worries anymore :) Although I dont agree with certain parts, but pretty much a sane video IMO.

I saw this video a while back. Interesting stuff, the Venus project.

Jacque Fresco is a genius. Super interesting man.

government cannot give you anything of its own, it can only take from others

Followed up on the Grant Coin Project yesterday. (with the referral link) ;) Also, made a donation to the project - so I should be getting a pre-loaded USB Wallet in the mail as a thank you gift. It will be fun to watch, I just read their whitepaper today.

Congratulations! I didn't notice any offer about the pre-loaded USB wallet. I'll have another look. I do have about 25,000 coins now worth about $12 I think.

Haha -- so many coins -- 25,000! I signed up, too, under your referral. I think it will help me figure out all this wallet business, so thanks! Happy New Year and here's to a lot more digital coins for you in 2017! : )
