Especially in Steemit I have seen way more scare mongering in regards to economic collapse especially from people like the Tinfoiled Vigilante and Co.
People always try to advocate their own point of view forgetting that these things are mostly attributed to cycles. Nonetheless the ignorant always fall for silly scenarios since the people who are pushing them are invested one way or another in other mediums (e.g gold).
Even if everything collapses a new elite with concentrated wealth will rise up. Whether that is Bitcoin, Gold or anything else, it doesn't make much of a difference.
Very true. I prefer to call it peddling fear. Mongers are a respectable hard working lot ;)
