Hehe...yes, we can hope. Writing on this platform has certainly proven a learning curve for me. I find myself tweaking my writing-style, breaking up huge slabs of content with flash and imagery. Coming from an academic background writing in a more marketable style is all very new to me. But it's fun playing around like this. And this piece is a mixture of insights and tongue-in-cheek. Thank you for reading :)

Bloggers need to tweak their style, because this is slightly different (competing for attention - compared to having your own blog)... Forum users need to tweak their style (this is unlike a forum). Reddit users must tweak their style (the criteria are different here because money is involved)... Book authors must tweak their style as this is a "live" environment with multiple people involved. Academics must tweak their style, etc... Now the interesting thing is that after all this adaptation, everyone is meeting in the "middle" and practically almost everyone is outside their comfort zone because this is a new and different experience. So, I guess, we are all in good company with one another.

That we are...that we are...nicely said! :)So, all we have to do is 'twerk' and the money will come pouring in? Oh...oops, my bad, you wrote 'tweak' not 'twerk' LOL (Though I suspect that twerking on here will prove more lucrative ;))

Ahahahhahah i am also a cam girl , don't tempt me !!!

I agree! It's an experiment...

A cam girl huh? Hmm...now I 'm feeling tempted! ;)

First time I talk to a cam-girl, lol... So do you find steem revenue lucrative compared to cam-girl revenue? From what I've seen some cam-sites have a similar pattern of distribution in terms of money - you see 500 girls getting nothing and 10-20 girls making veeery good money - raining tokens...

So to answer to your first question, the 2 are so different, that comparing them...seems pointless. The only similarity between them is that you never know where your post ends. It could make trending or die ...just as one session of caming, you could make 11 btc in one night , or thousands of dollars , or nothing. It's up to you , how u decide to feel about it .

Not really, those 10-20 girls you see making a lot of money , they deserve it, simply because they invest time , they pay attention , they deliver a good show , and even invest back their own money into their shows. Having a nice face and great pair of boobs only gets u so far....but a fan base , people that keep coming back in your channel , chat room, privates...that's personality based. That's the difference between caming as a hobby and caming as a job that u just have to do it cuz it's your job. And excuse me, how do those 500 expect to make $15 k - $20 k in 2 weeks , when all they do is stay in front of a cam , with an expression on their faces that looks like they hate what they are doing? And ignore your presence in the same time? Would u go and watch them ? Or will you go to the ones that are actually having fun while they are on cam and having an entertaining mood in their channel ?

Hmm, can't reply to you for some reason - but I can reply back to myself to acknowledge your answer... yes you are right, facial expression/boredom etc are very "bad" for selling a show. Obviously it will affect the income as well...
