Fuck It! Before It Fucks You #63 (Got money for wars but can't feed the poor.)

Hey y’all! It was Friday night not too long ago here in the Northwest so I need to bang out a blog before I go and pass out for the night/day/whatever it’s dark out. Today was kind of a busy day but I probably could have posted this yesterday so that’s a lame excuse.
In any case, I once again have to wonder why it is that the Left always gets portrayed as wanting free shit, yet nobody ever talks about the free shit that the Right wants. I mean, they want a free military to bomb poor brown people, then they want free border security to keep them out of the country/ Then they want free police forces to beat on and murder the poor black, brown and white people who already live in this country, then they want free prisons to hold them in. I mean, there’s a whole laundry list of free shit that the right wants and expects me to pay for. Yest when the Left demands that their taxes be used for things like healthcare and education and other things that would actually benefit the people they’re accused of wanting a totalitarian dictatorship by the very same people who demand all the trappings of an actual totalitarian dictatorship.
And speaking of totalitarian dictatorships. Why is it that Presidential candidates get all kinds of shit if they acknowledge any kind of good that the governments of places like Cuba of China have done for their people, yet nobody seems to care about the totalitarian dictatorship that our governments has supported all over the world? I mean, it’s not like we really care about the common people in these places. If we did we’d lift all of our embargoes and trade sanctions against them. But clearly there’s no better way to demonstrate the power of the free market than forbidding companies from doing business in certain geographical areas.
And furthermore, why is it that whenever we get a hard on to bomb and invade once of these places, nobody wants to ask how much that[s going to cost. Yet if someone suggests that our resources could be put to better use actually helping people who need it, people are all like “Whoa there buddy! What’s this going to cost? If we spend all our tax money trying to help poor brown people, there will be nothing left to bomb them with!”
Personally, I think it all comes down to the myth of “American Exceptionalism”. Basically what it all comes down to is that it’s ok to bomb innocent people as long as they’re in another country because they're not Americans and therefore not as good as us. And clearly the poor deserve to be poor, otherwise they wouldn’t be poor.
Anyway, it’s way past time for me to crash. All I can say is that you;re all being fed a bunch of bullshit no matter which side of the spectrum you're on. And the only way to effectively fight it is to say “Fuck it!” Before it fucks you
