fiverr.com - How To Make Money Online

in #money8 years ago (edited)

Hey steemers! Today I wanted to address the well-known website fiverr.com! I thought this goes pretty hand-in-hand with steemit as many people in our community (like myself) are entrepreneurs that work from home. Im going to show you the basics of fiverr.com and strategies that may help you be a successful fiverr user! Lets get started!

For those who don't know, fiverr.com is a site where you can order/sell a "gig" for just $5! These "gigs" are tasks that usually take a short period of time to complete. For example, say you need cover art for your latest mixtape! What you would do is fiverr search "mixtape/album cover" and immediately you will get a list of people willing to make your cover art for just $5!!! Amazing I know!! You can do this for many tasks such as "do my homework" or "post me on twitter", the gigs are endless! Also if you wish to buy/sell a gig for more then $5 you can through fiverrs "gig extra" feature. This allows you to charge more then $5 to complete a more time-consuming/complex task.

I don't make a killing on fiverr (about $300 a month selling hip hop promotion!) but it is a great way to advertise your business and bring in new clientele! People are much more likely to be interested in your services if you share the same passion for fiverr as they do! Its a great community!

So how do become a fiverr-wizard? Its easy!

Step #1 - Social Media

Share your gig on all social media platforms. Reach out to people that might be interested in your services. Once you play the multiple game $5 orders can add up very fast!

Step #2 - Make a gig with a high demand

fiverr was easy for me because a lot of musicians use it for online promotion! Make sure the interests of fiverr's users fall in your favor.

Step #3 - Get them 5 star reviews!

The better you perform the better ratings you get! The better ratings you get the more people will order your gig. That simple!

Step #4 - Make custom offers!

Sometimes your past clients forget about your gig after they make an order, be sure to contact them with special deals this will keep them interested and coming back for more!

The world wide web is the definition of "opportunity". You don't have to leave your home to make a living anymore! In the age of the internet you don't need a college degree, all you need is motivation and the know how succeed! steemit.com & fiverr.com are perfect examples of this. If you find my material useful please up vote and follow. The revolution will not be televised it will be STEEMED! Thanks!

Nice ill check it out!!

Will try and let you know. Thank you

Fiverr is one of those sites that has been around quite awhile now and is pretty hard for new "players" to have much luck on there. I am not saying its impossible, but generally the original (aka founders ) are the ones who get the majority of gigs.

I happened to be looking at a list of my buyers on Fiverr today while I searched for something in particular. Lest people think they can earn only in small multiples of $5, this photo is three screenshots combined into one to show some of the larger amounts I've made from an individual client.

Some of these are one project and some payments represent two or three book editing projects done over weeks or months. I am pat5rr on the platform. I took a long break from fiverr at the beginning of last year, but I'm starting to become a little more active again, mostly doing my niche gig of book descriptions.
