SMILEY VENEZUELA. “Dolar paralelo” and hope.
The last time I was in Venezuela it was the year 2009
and Chavez was the president. At that moment the “dolar paralelo” (value of the dollar you can purchase on the “parallel” market) was: 1USD for 12BSF(Bolivares).
Today you can il-legally exchange your dollar for 5,807.58Bolivares
The purchasing power of Venezuelans is in a certain way since then, inversely related with the increasing value of Bitcon.
Very very BAD as The Donald would say. WHY THIS POST? Because the only news we get from MSM and also non-MSM are BAD. But Venezuela can be a paradise on earth. Even today (with some caution) you can go there and find culture, majestic landscapes and beautiful people. See my pictures below from 2009.
