There is a Bitshares based browser game coming.

BitFarm - a farming simulator, where all the data is transacted on the Bitshares network. Not a a fan of farming? No problem - according to the announcment, you can resort to the dark ways and steal some crops instead. Already looking much better, right? ;)

Something else that i picked up:

Commodities have been finding their way onto the blockchain and i have wrote earlier about Blockchain backed gold.

Now when browsing the web i stumbled upon a blockchain based diamonds-exchange! While diamonds cannot be considered a traditional commodity - you cannot exchange trade them like gold. Why? For gold, measuring it's value is simple - just weigh it (simplified explanation) :) But with diamonds there are many more variables introduced - rarity, quality etc.

So, back to CEDEX - the first blockchain based Diamond exchange.

How does CEDEX tackle this issue? They claim they have a proprietary machine learning algorithm to evaluate the value of diamonds and create blockchain smart contracts for each stone. An interesting concept, but can a machine do a human's job? In some cases yes, and even better. I am curious about this project and will follow them closely.

The exchange will also feature an ERC-20 comaptible CEDEX coin, which will trade over the Ethereum network. And according to the team, the CEDEX coin will be the only means of payment on their platform. Looking to find the coin on some exchanges soon, maybe we can all own some smart-contracted diamonds soon :)
