I am not surprised. Many of the red lines refer to topics where it is not clear how much should be spent. For example healthcare. You could always spend more. There is no natural limit. For TV's on the other hand there is a clear point where having more becomes pointless.

Giving the control to the state in the former cases is a great recipe for generating out of control spending.

That's true, but it's just spending, not prices. Of course overspending may lead to inflation, but there's also the lack of innovation and operational efficiency due to over-regulation and lack of competition.

ohh these are single prices? I thought it would be the evolution of total "market-cap". That makes is much worse.
