US Equities Take a Hit... DOW Down Over 700 Points: Market Snapshot

Today, US equity markets experienced a small correction, just shy of 3%.

The DOW (DJIA) went down 724 points, totaling 2.93% in the red (source: http://money.cnn.com/data/markets/dow/)

Certainly the Fed announcing a Federal Funds Rate hike, and Facebook's scandals this week have contributed to this.
