Researching Website Topics

Let us now begin the next part. To begin with, you cannot create a profitable automated website without an in-demand niche topic. This is extremely important to keep in mind. The best way to find website topics that sell is to go on Flippa.com. This is also the website you should use to sell your automated website once it is finished. Go to the homepage of Flippa and leave the search bar on the top blank and select “Websites” to search for websites on Flippa that are on sale or have sold in the past. We are looking for websites that have sold in the past. On the left-hand side of the page select “Sold” under “Status” and then click “Search.” You can also select the “Reserve Met” option which shows websites that sold for the price expected from the seller. This will allow you to research more thoroughly. After this, change the suggestions to “Most Recent” websites by clicking on the drop down “Sort By” option. You will want to have this selected or you may be researching website niches that are not in much demand.

This method allows you to view sites that have recently sold and for how much. I would suggest scrolling through a few pages and writing down the website niches that have sold for over $100 and of those of which you think would work well for a website that creates automated content. For example, if I were to create an automated site based around the Vegan niche, I could easily find articles and content related to the Vegan niche, which with the automated scrapping tools I will show you in a later section, will be capable of creating a very attractive and lively automated website.

This is the only method I use for researching website niches for my automated websites and it works! You should not just create and sell websites blindly. You should look at what is selling (and for how much) and then begin creating your automated site based on what is already proven to sell. If there are multiple bidders for the website niche you are basing your automated website on, you already know there are potential buyers waiting for your website to come out even before you create it! Make sure to spend at least 10 minutes on finding a topic for your website if you’re a beginner. After you have a niche or topic for your automated website, continue onto the next upcoming post.
