SECRETS OF THE MILLIONAIRE MIND

in #money7 years ago (edited)

After reading as many books as I could find, I quickly learned that there were many subjects that schools did not teach. They included: time management, making money, making decisions, setting goals, establishing and maintaining relationships, and so on.

Due to the reason above, one might think that you will never be rich unless you hit the lottery, win big in football betting or participate in a big chunk of family money. But becoming a millionaire is within the reach of those who start young and develop good habits. And anyone at any age can develop traits that increase wealth and decrease debt.

Becoming a millionaire is not extremely difficult. It takes money, time, discipline and a bit of luck. All you need to do is follow these simple steps according to my findings.

1. Plan Long Term, Not Short Term.

Big things start small. If you want to be a millionaire, you need to set big long-term financial goals for yourself. Remember, being a millionaire will not happen overnight. It may end up taking much more time than you'd like.

2. Get Rid of Poverty Thinking

There is no shortage of money on planet Earth, only a shortage of people who think correctly about it. To become a millionaire from scratch, you have to end the thought of poverty.

3. Money Follows Passion.

I learned that when you do what you love, money will follow.

If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life. Marc Anthony

4. You Need A Source Of Income.

Unless you are born into wealth and riches, inherit wealth or strike it rich in the lottery, you have to earn money. You do not need to make a lot of money to get rich; That's what you do with that money that matters.

5. Save, Save and Save.

Make a habit of saving money.

Do not save what is left after spending; instead spend what is left after saving. Warren Buffett

6. Learn From Your Mistakes And Move Forward.

Some people, when faced with their own inadequacies, beat themselves up. And you know what that does? It paralyzes them to make the decisions they need to succeed.   So take the simple step to fess up and move on. Yes, it's simpler than you might think, especially once you have practice. Millionaires do not give up because of some stupid mistakes. They move on.

Great quote from Zig Ziglar! ;-) Nice contribution, and it is quite correct. Just, the luck is something with do not have in our hands...

The school can only do as much as they can in the limited time spent there. The rest can only be learnt in the school of life. Nice post.

I have both a big-screen tv and lots of books. I wonder what does that make me?
