I live in Mumbai, land of Bollywood. If you have ever seen a mainstream (masala or spice in english) popular Bollywood movie you will see that most have item songs. Now the trend is of party songs. The dancer is always a sexy girl with nice LBB (legs booty boobs).

They do this because it sells. They make billions of rupees creating different recipes with almost same ingredients and sometimes almost same recipes too.

I find Steemit to be developing that way. The mainstream populars will earn a lot. Few artistic will get critical acclaim and significant money. And rest, rest will do what they do for the love of writing with hope that some mainstream director discovers the talent and compensates well.
