The True Power of Words

in #money7 years ago (edited)

Power is an elusive thing, it can be found in the monetary system where those with wealth control others through their financial wealth. It can be found in organized crime where those control others through fear and brutality. Power can be found in leaders that control others through there motivational speaking and charismatic appeal. It can also be found in religious establishments where the faith of a person is controlled by the ministerial leader. Some may say that power is a matter of perspective and relative to those that wield it. However, when I speak of power, true power I am not referring to these examples, I am referring to the true power that each of us have once we have a realization of what it is.
Words
No, it’s not a metaphor for some abstract thought for people to contemplate while they sit in a meditative trance. It is as simple as that “Real power comes from words.” It is a simple concept with a bit of complexity that I will attempt to explain here. The bible gives the example in the book of Genesis when the creator spoke “Let there be light” and the universe burst into existence. This act was a combination of Three things that manifested in the power of creation. The first was Intent, the thought occurred to do something, this was done purposefully (the thought was to create something) the next was belief, the creator believed that by speaking those words it would be (and it was) The release of the power came from the spoken words.
This is just an example that manifested into the creation of the universe. If we look closely we can see that the formula is simple (Intent+Belief+Action = Power ).
This same formula has been used throughout history in many other practices. Lets look at another example:

The power of Sorcery and Witchcraft
There are those in the world that practice magic that have a bit of this power. Not to be taken lightly, there power can be lethal to the unaware. The source of their power is based on treaties with entities and is limited by the terms of the pact and the limits of the entity in which the agreement is struck. Through spell casting, they send their intent, though not apparent this intent binds an agreement with supernatural forces. The effects of the spell may be realized but there is always a price to pay for the use of these agreements. It may be years before the payment is due but it is always collected. Now if delve deeper into the ritual involved in invoking these treaties we can see that the above formula still applies. The intent of the caster is combined with there belief in what they are doing and an Action (usually a spoken incantation). This releases the power on there behalf.

In understanding the nature of the power, we can better understand how to properly wield it. Words without intent or belief are simply words. Yet when you combine the three you begin to manifest your own personal power. I would love to hear your thoughts on this concept.

The words are one of the most powerful weapons indeed! They can make peace or WAR,they can destroy people or make love between them. That's why we need to be very careful when using them. ;)

I completely agree, which is why its so important for us to understand the power we wield with words
