Yes, I think EURO is a failure. If it was sucessful , then it would have been implemented all over the world

The article points out failure is due to creating a single currency without the institutions to sustain it.
My interpretation of this is there can not be any economic union without political union
A world currency can not be successful without a world government
One currency to Rule them all
Hey @rjona1 it seems to me that they tryed to get as many countries into the euro that they could so they could crash the system everywhere at the same time in order to implement a new currency, possibly something along the lines of ripple!? :)
I suppose Europe will simply start again with the German mark, French francs and the British pound
This is important news for the world economics...

Hey @barteksiama yes it is true that they have the euro but that is slowly crumbling before our eyes, there is a possibility that next year a new currency will be introduces to the whole world not just the euro zone? :)
I would say that was Impressive report 29 years ago. Now the govts. may release the new currency, but I am sure Btc and few other altcoins will prevail. thanks for sharing. upvoted
