WHAT IS DIGIXDAO

Just recently discovered DigixDao coin few days ago from a friend but its been on a tear for the past few weeks. Im not a market analyst but it seems that DigixDAO (Distributed Autonomous Organization) is the first successful DAO on the Ethereum blockchain. DGX first order of business was to introduce a new stable coin. This particular token is advertised as the future gold-standard of value exchange in the Ethereum ecosystem. Every DGX token represents 1 gram of 99.99% LMBA standard gold, which is secured in Safehouse vaults. Its possible for users to redeem 100DGX tokens in exchange for 100 grams of physical gold. The process can be completed in person or by mail

There is also DGD which is DigixDao Token which lets holders claim quarterly rewards based on the total DGX collected thru transaction fees. This is not a stable coin, as it can be traded thru the exchanges and only 2 million DGD tokens are in existence as of right now hence the major increases in price in my opinion. By combining the concepts of rewards, badges, and proposals the DGX could become a major project sooner than later. This project is still being developed with many big things to come.

A final draft audit will be taking place and presented to the public soon and once audit is made public we should see the launch of DGX 2.0 within 8 weeks. The teams smart contracts are currently available on Kovan public testnet and await further feedback from the community. There are also new partnerships underway which should be something else to look forward to and should be interesting to see how things develop over the next few months.
